SMALL BUSINESS CONSULTANT
The Cook County/Grand Marais Joint Economic Development Authority (EDA) partners with the Northland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to provide no-cost consulting services to entrepreneurs and small business clients.

The SBDC consultant provides relevant and realistic advice in areas such as:

Access to capital and loan packaging

Financial analysis and assessment

Accounting systems
-
Marketing and market research
-
Marketing plan development
-
Feasibility analysis
-
Startup assistance
-
Business plan development
-
Electronic Commerce and website development
-
Succession and strategic planning

This is a part-time, independent consultant position based at the EDA office in Grand Marais. The anticipated workload is approximately 50 hours per month, with a consulting rate of $65 per hour.
